• Scheduling Productive Time into Your Day

If you’re a business owner, you’ll understand the dilemma between dealing with meetings and communications, and actually getting your work done.

Networking events, client meetings and phone calls are all very important parts of running a business, but they can sometimes come in the way of actually doing whatever it is you do. Whether you’re a marketer, a designer or an accountant: you’ll need uninterrupted time at your desk in order to get your important work done.

We find that one of the best ways to do this is to actually schedule productive time into our day. Setting aside a period of time, such as an hour or a whole afternoon, which will be dedicated only to doing what you need to do can help you to do this. During this time it can be helpful to turn off your phone, close your email inbox and focus only on the task at hand.

Doing this is much easier if you have an assistant or other staff on hand who are able to take on communications for you while you’re ‘in the zone.’ However, this same end can be achieved even if you don’t have full time staff.

Why not use a virtual assistant or telephone answering company like us to help you keep your focus? We can manage your calls and even your emails for you with only a moment’s notice – as often or as rarely as you need us.

Handing over control of your communications for a regular period of time every day could help you to get a real handle on the important work you need to do, and could help you become a lot more productive.
